Millennium's Data Environment: Highly Secure, Highly Availabile

The property inspection data that is collected on a daily basis allow Millennium's clients to make smarter underwriting and pricing decisions. For these reasons, and because we are dedicated to constantly improving customer service, Millennium houses its mission critical systems infrastructure in the Latisys-Chicago Data Center, located in Oak Brook, IL.

Latisys-Chicago is a Tier III+ data center, providing greater than 99.999 percent availability, world-class physical security, infrastructure flexibility and customer support. Within this location, Millennium maintains a secured hardware and telecommunications facility which houses all its data communications hardware, production database and application servers.

Video surveillance and electronic motion sensors provide continuous interior and exterior observation and 30-day retained storage. The building's single entry point is outfitted with sophisticated security sensors, vandal-resistant and bullet-proof glass, full biometric hand scanning and even CircleLock mantraps (see photo).

To complement the data center's physical security features, an armed guard monitors the data center 24/7/365. The site is also equipped with substantial fire and water environmental protection and has state of the art cooling capabilities.
